MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Folks hit Overton Park Saturday morning for a special 5K run/walk to support a great cause.
The Mutt Strut 5K benefitted the Dogs 2nd Chance Rescue. Participants lined up at 8 a.m. to hit the course.
Dogs 2nd Chance rehabilitates and rehomes stray and abandoned dogs, with the goal of finding the furry friends new loving homes. The dogs sometimes stay locally, and sometimes are found new homes in other parts of the U.S.
