Memphis Police release picture of suspects' car in deadly shooting outside Morgan Steel in May

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — UPDATE 7/23/2021 - Memphis Police have released a picture of the suspects' vehicle in a deadly shooting this past May in the parking lot of Morgan Steel Company.

Investigators said video was located showing a dark gray Chevy Malibu pull into the parking lot in the 200 block of West Trigg Avenue just before 37-year-old Perry Donnerson was shot on May 17, 2021.

Donnerson was taken to Regional One Hospital where he died. 

Investigators said they were advised that the people in the Chevy Malibu were responsible for the shooting.

No arrests have been made.

5/17/2021 - The Memphis Police Department is investigating an early morning deadly shooting in South Memphis.

According to an MPD tweet, the shooting happened just after 7:00 a.m. Monday at 265 W. Trigg.

The victim was found in the parking lot of a business and did not survive his injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation.
