MEMPHIS, Tennessee —
UPDATE 6/29/2020: A 15-year-old boy has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals for the June 10 shooting death of Nyisir Jones. The shooting happened in the 6000 block of Whisper Valley.
Two other people were also shot and critically injured that day in the 4100 block of Kirby Parkway.
The teen was arrested at a motel near Getwell and American Way without incident.
In addition to First Degree Murder the teen had warrants for two counts of first degree murder and employment of a firearm in commission of a dangerous felony.

One man is dead after being shot Wednesday night in southeast Memphis.
According to the Memphis Police Department, officers found a man shot to death inside a car in the 6000 block of Whisper Valley Drive around 8:30pm. They say a child was grazed by a bullet and another person shot. Both were taken to the hospital after suffering non-critical injuries.
Police have detained a man in connection to this crime, but the homicide investigation is continuing.
