Overnight downtown Memphis shooting leaves man injured

Police said the shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of South Fourth Street and Beale Street.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police are investigating after a man was shot overnight near Beale Street.

Police said the shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of South Fourth Street and Beale Street. A man was taken to Regional One in critical condition.

Police haven't released any suspect information and the investigation is ongoing.

No arrests have been reported.
