MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Mississippi State Department of Health is warning about someone trying to steal information by posing as a health department employee.
The Department posted a warning on Twitter, saying the person pretends to work for the health department and asks for the last four digits of your social security number. Do not give it to them.
Officials said this is not a department practice and you should not respond to the calls.
