Parent guide to fun for Fall Break '22| Here's a few fun things to do

There are so many things to do while kids are out of the school for the week, and ABC24 has you covered.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Kids are out for Fall Break October 11 through October 15, and ABC24 wants to share some of the best ways to have family fun during the break.  

Paint Memphis on Broad Ave.

More than 150 artist will have live painting sessions showcasing their art in the Broad Ave. Art District Saturday, Oct. 8 at Paint Memphis, which is a one-day paint festival.

The festival will start at noon and end at 6 p.m. It will feature local artist and regional artist. 

There will also be live music from local music artist and food tucks on-site.

Special guest regional artist include Carpenter Art Garden, Houston High School, the Girl Scouts Heart of the South Council, and Christian Brothers University. 

A hands-on mural workshop by Zulu Artist and a skateboarding workshop by Society Memphis will also be available.

Lastly, there will be a performances by Memphis Hoopers and the Kumar Indian Dance Troop.

Fright-tober Film Series at Crosstown

Families can attend Fright-tober Film Series at Crosstown Concourse to matinee screenings of kid-friendly, Halloween movies at 2:30 p.m. every Saturday until October 29.

Art Bar will serve refreshments and popcorn.

Priddy Farms

Priddy Farms Fall Pumpkin Patch is back. Although Priddy Farms is open all year, its even more fun to visit during the fall season. 

When visiting the Fall Pumpkin Patch, families can enjoy pumpkin picking, hayrides, the animal feeding and petting zoo, and the corn maze.

Parents can also build scarecrows with their kids. There is also a large playground area. 

The Pumpkin Patch ends November 6. Those who wish to visit can call or text Priddy Farms at 901-359-0800 or 901-616-9338. Visitors can also find Priddy Farms on Facebook and Instagram.

Memphis Zoo

Parents don't forget that Memphis Zoo is always free on Tuesdays. The weather is nice, and children can enjoy walking through the zoo to see all different types of animals.

Peabody Ducks March

If your kids have never seen the Peabody ducks, you can visit the Peabody Hotel each day at 11 a.m. and at 5 p.m. to see the ducks march.
