MEMPHIS, Tenn — The Memphis Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of their own.
On the Fire Association’s Facebook page, the department announced the off-duty death of Private Jeff Arick.
He died from an "apparent cardiac event" Saturday at his home.
Arick was 45-years-old and joined Memphis Fire in 2003.
