Annual Greek Festival is underway

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – The 61st annual Greek Festival is underway at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.

The festival is a yearly celebration of the Greek culture and traditions , and especially, food! Greek Festival Pastry Chairman Linda Nichols says the kitchen will prepare roughly 26,000 items for sale over the next two days.

There’s a drive-thru, which is accessible by turning onto Galloway from Highland. You loop around the back side of the church, where someone will come out to your car and take your order on the spot.

The Greek Festival runs Friday and Saturday, May 10th and 11th, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. both days. Admission is $3 for adult and $1 for children (age 6-11, age 5 and under free) or you can donate 3 cans of food that will go to the Mid-South Bank for free admission.
