Thousands of people were at the 12th Annual RiverArtsFest Saturday which organizers moved to Riverside Drive for the first time.

While the fest relocated it continued to showcase original artwork.

Everything from paintings to glasswork to clothing are on sale through Sunday. There are also art demonstrations to help people create works of their own.

“It looks like glass or ceramic but it’s not. It’s wood so it’s not that heavy. A lot of people think it’s real heavy and I only do one of a kind in my 20 some years of doing art. I’ve never done two alike. Everybody that ever bought a piece of my art has a one of a kind original piece of art and that speaks volumes for art,” said artist Al Hubbard.

RiverArtsFest ends Sunday.

If you plan to attend the festival in Downtown Memphis, be mindful of road closures from Beale to Jefferson.
