MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Roads were blocked Monday morning on Airways Blvd. between Park Ave. and Lamar as officers worked to clear an accident involving a car that hit a utility pole.
MLGW crews repaired the damaged pole and secured downed wires.
It is unclear whether the damage to the utility pole caused outages for residents in the area.
According to Memphis Police Department, officers responded to the accident at 2:45 a.m.
One person was transported to the hospital, but their condition is currently unknown.
