Rae Lyn Hartley is the lifestyle reporter and producer for Local 24 News and CW 30 News.

Rae Lyn covers all of the exciting things Memphis has to offer from the local music scene to fashion and art. 

Rae Lyn moved to the Mid-South from Virginia Beach, Virginia, where she produced the weekend newscast at WAVY-TV. Her career in television began in her home state of Kansas at KAKE-TV in Wichita. She started as a producer then moved in front of the camera to become KAKE’s Western Kansas reporter. Rae Lyn joined the Local 24 and CW 30 team in 2003. She earned an Emmy nomination in 2009 for her work producing.

Rae Lyn is a graduate of Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. (GO TIGERS) She completed an internship at ABC News 20/20 in New York City. There she spent time working on the John Stossel Special “Freeloaders” and also went undercover on a story exposing modeling scams.

Rae Lyn grew up in the small town of Medicine Lodge, Kansas but is now proud to call Memphis her home. In her spare time you can find her exploring the Bluff City, spending time with friends and running. She completed her first marathon in December 2004! Email Rae Lyn
