80's Will Stick Around

80's Will Stick Around

Below average temperatures will hang around through the holiday!
MEMPHIS WEATHER--Happy Tuesday! A mix of clouds and sunshine is on the menu for today. Isolated to scattered showers are still likely, mainly in portions of west TN, this afternoon. A stubborn weather-maker continues to sit and spin across the Ohio Valley and will continue to wrap clouds and showers into parts of the Mid-South. Most showers activity this afternoon should be light. However, the occasional downpour with thunder and lightning cannot be ruled out. The severe threat for today is low.

Temperatures again will be several degrees below average for this time of year. Highs today will range from upper 70's across the northeast to low-mid 80's in the MS delta. Temperatures will gradually warm as we head towards the holiday Thursday. Daily isolated rain chances are possible. The heat looks to return to the Mid-South early next week.
