A Soggy Saturday

A Soggy Saturday

MEMPHIS WEATHER --  After a cloudy start, rain after lunch made for a rather soggy Saturday for the Mid South.  Temperatures were mild and made it into the mid 50s for the highs.  We will see steady temperatures overnight with the continuation of clouds and periods of heavy rainfall.  Cannot rule out a rogue thunderstorm late this evening and overnight, but the threat of severe weather should remain to our south.  Sunday will start off wet with more rain, but the big story will be the winds.  Winds will gust up to 30 mph at times in the early afternoon before tapering off late in the day.  These winds will blow in cooler temperatures for Monday.  Although we dry out, the sun brightens our days, the temperatures wait until the latter part of the week before feeling more like springtime.
