A game changing front is moving through

A cold front brought a few showers and storms early this morning but rain will end and humidity levels will drop.
MEMPHIS - As you read this a cold front is moving through the Midsouth. A few showers may be leftover south of I-40 this morning and early this afternoon but do expect most, if not all, rain to be done by 3 or 4 this afternoon. Meanwhile, drier air will filter in taking our humidity way down making it feel a bit more comfortable as early as the evening drive. Tonight, with the slice of dryness in place, lows will fall into the mid 60s; about 10-15° cooler than the last several days. The cool and dry trend drives us into the first half of the weekend, highs Friday and Saturday will 'only' be in the upper 80s with a good deal of sun. Meanwhile, where you'll really notice the change is in the overnight lows, they'll stay in the 60s for the next 2-3 nights. Sunday, we get back into a summery pattern with the addition of moisture and even more heat. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be popping Sunday afternoon, not plan canceling stuff, but enough to make you run inside for a few minutes. Highs Sunday through midweek will be in the low and middle 90s.

Enjoy Thursday and make it a great day!
