Friday's big storms lead to pleasant weekend

Drier air is slipping into the Midsouth paving the way for a pleasant weekend,
Friday's early morning storms continue to push well south and a slice of drying is moving in. A couple showers may be possible out ahead of the dry push but severe weather is not expected. This movement from humid to dry air paves the way for a pleasant looking weekend. Saturday morning will start with lows in the 60s and 70s with lots of sun. Despite mostly sunny skies afternoon highs will struggle, and in this case many will think its a good thing, to get into the mid 80s through Monday. While most will stay dry and comfortable, a disturbance to our east will be close enough to spark a couple showers and storms the more east you go starting Sunday afternoon. In this set up, our wind will be mainly from the north and northwest keeping us comfortable in the 80s through the 4th of July holiday on Thursday. Speaking of, keep your plans, as of now we're only looking at a few pop up thunderstorms through the middle of the week.

Be safe and have a productive weekend!
