MEMPHIS WEATHER--Clouds will continue to hang around today and temperatures will struggle to climb even into the mid 40's. Isolated drizzle is possible today in a few spots, but most of the area will be dry. The weather system that brought rain to the area earlier in the week continues to sit and spin across the Ohio Valley. Pieces of energy are rotating around the center of that system and this will be the reason for our wintry weather Friday and Saturday. The Mid-South continues to be influenced by a northwest wind which is helping to pave the way for moisture and cold temperatures to move into the area. On Friday, a few snow flurries will be possible early. Temperatures will warm above freezing in the afternoon and a light, cold rain looks to be on the menu by then. A rain/snow mix will be possible early Friday evening before making the switchover to all snow Friday night and Saturday. Snow flurries will continue through Saturday morning. Bundle up out there!
