Mild Weather Continues For Sunday

Highs on Sunday will top out in the middle 50's!
MEMPHIS, TN--It has been a gorgeous weekend in the Mid-South. Dry weather will continue for Sunday, however temperatures won't be quite as warm. Beginning tomorrow, cooler air will begin it's descent into the Mid-South. Winds will become more northeasterly tomorrow afternoon, but temperatures will still climb into the mid 50's before cooling down tomorrow evening. Monday will be significantly colder with highs only around 40 degrees. A few more clouds will work into the area on Monday, but the area will remain dry.

Tuesday will prove to be the coldest day in the near-term forecast with high temperatures not climbing out of the 30's. This first cold snap will be short-lived and will be immediately followed by another swing in temperatures. Highs by Thursday will be similar to today with temperatures in the upper 50's. Our next opportunity for rain will arrive on Thursday as warm, moist air pushes into the region. A better chance for heavier rain will arrive Friday morning. Arctic air will dive into the Mid-South by Friday afternoon. It is too early to tell if any wintry weather will accompany the tale end of the system, but we will keep watch.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
