MEMPHIS, TN--Good Monday morning everyone! It will be a warm and windy day in the Mid-South. Strong southerly winds will push temperatures into the lower 60's across the Mid-South today. A Wind Advisory is in effect for eastern Arkansas where sustained winds of 22 to 28 miles per hour are likely this afternoon. Our next weather-maker will head toward the area this morning and showers will begin to develop after noon today. Rain will increase in intensity and coverage through the late afternoon and evening. Rain will be heavy at times with a few storms mixed in. Rain will wrap up from west to east across the Mid-South before midnight tonight. Sunshine and slightly cooler temperatures will arrive for Tuesday. Have a great day everyone!
