Good Tuesday! Scattered showers and storms will arrive in the Mid-South again today. Storms will have the potential to produce heavy rain, thunder, and lightning. A few storms could be strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center places parts of the Mid-South under a slight risk for severe weather today. This risk area includes Dyersburg, TN and Jonesboro, AR. Also, many places have already received up to 3 inches of rain, so flash flooding is a concern with this storm system. Temperatures will again be influenced by rain and temperatures will be cooler in rainy areas with warmer temperatures to be found in rain-free locations. Computer models continue to indicate a complex of storms to develop overnight into early Wednesday morning. Sunshine will return Thursday. Temperatures in the upper 80's can be expected over the weekend.
