MEMPHIS WEATHER--The Mid South is under a Tornado Watch effective until 11PM Saturday night, affecting our viewers in Eastern Arkansas, North Mississippi, and West Tennessee. A Low pressure system is moving east from Arkansas as a warm front lifts from southern Arkansas into northern Mississippi and west Tennessee...but wait, another cold front nudges into the lower Mississippi Valley. The instability in our upper atmosphere may trigger some strong storms along the Mississippi River, producing brief heavy downpours, damaging winds, and pea size hail, not ruling out an isolated tornado. A line of storms will pass through overnight and exit the viewing region by daybreak. Skies will gradually clear Sunday afternoon.
