MEMPHIS, TN--Good Friday morning! Another sunny day is on the way, but it will certainly be a chilly start! Temperatures today will climb into the mid 40's. More clouds will arrive after midnight tonight in response to a weather system spinning southwest of the Mid-South. Since dry air is in place in the Mid-South, it will take some time for moisture to increase enough to spit out showers in the area. Isolated, light showers will be possible tomorrow, but mainly along and south of I-40. Any showers will exit the area by tomorrow evening. Chilly weather will be in place through the weekend before a nice warm up next week.
Temperatures on Monday will take a turn. Southerly flow will help boost temperatures into the lower and middle 50's by the middle of next week. Showers will return to the Mid-South Tuesday night and Wednesday.
Have a great Friday!
