Memphis--A cool Halloween night will give way to a cold morning with freezing temperatures expected in Corinth, Selmer, Henderson & Jackson. These cities are located closer to the Tennessee River. Farther west across the remainder of west Tennessee and north Mississippi, frost will develop but temperatures will stay mostly just above freezing. A rapid warm up will take place late Thursday morning. Thursday afternoon will be seasonable with highs in the low 70s. The warming trend will continue Friday and Saturday. Saturday afternoon will see highs around 80! Clouds will be on the increase Saturday and rain may arrive before sundown. Showers remain possible Saturday night into early Sunday. Sunday, temperatures will cool again and high temperatures will be 15-20 degrees cooler area wide. Dry and cool weather will bring in next week with temperatures slowly warming by Wednesday.
