Textbook summer for the next few days

Textbook summer for the next few days

The heat rolls on for the rest of the weekend with a few more storms possible next week.
We've got what I am going to call "manageable weather" for the rest of your weekend. Look up summer in the dictionary and that's what we've got. A big dome of high pressure is centered just to our east and it's driving up temperatures but keeping most rain away. There may be a couple showers around for the rest of the night but nothing serious with lows falling into the 70s. Sunday starts pleasant but temperatures quickly rise through lunch and will top out in the low 90s. Humidity is not quite oppressive through Sunday but you'll certainly be sweating easy. Monday and beyond we stay the course with small storm chances in the afternoon and lots of heat. Highs will dance between 90° & 95° with increased mugginess everyday. The end of your next work week, specifically Friday, brings our next best chance at storms with a cold front. It's too early to dwell on severe weather at this point but it's something to think about. The front will move east of us by Saturday afternoon, at that point it will be a touch cooler.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
