MEMPHIS WEATHER--Today will be the last gloomy, rainy, and cool day in the Mid-South! Scattered showers will continue off and on throughout the day. Some moderate rain is possible at times. Temperatures will again run several degrees below average with most areas only topping out in the lower 50's. If any areas experience brief rain-free conditions with thinning clouds this afternoon, temperatures will be much milder. Clouds will diminish across the entire area late tonight and will make way for a mostly sunny and warmer Friday. Temperatures to wind down the work week will climb into the upper 60's! The weekend forecast looks even better with dry conditions and highs in the mid 70's. Warm weather just may stick around for once! Temperatures each day next week will top out in the mid and upper 70's. Unfortunately, Tuesday and Wednesday could be quite unsettled with the possibility of rain and storms in the Mid-South. In the near-term, grab the umbrella today and make outdoor plans for the weekend!
