MEMPHIS--This weekend's forecast calls for a few light showers Saturday, followed by slightly cooler temperatures Sunday. All in all, a nice way to bring in the first weekend of the year. Milder air originating from the Pacific Ocean will arrive next week allowing temperatures to return to the mid and upper 50s. Beyond Saturday's weather system, a strong storm system will bring moderate to heavy rain in the Tuesday/Wednesday time frame. Temperatures will be warm enough for all rain. Dry, unseasonably mild and pleasant weather is expected next Thursday & Friday.
