MEMPHIS, TN--Another wonderful weekend in the Mid-South! Temperatures will stay mild tonight as southerly winds pick up overnight. Sunday will be another warm day with afternoon highs climbing into the mid 70's. Tomorrow will be a very windy day and parts of the Mid-South may be faced with a Wind Advisory by the afternoon. Our next weather system will head toward the Mid-South Sunday night. A line of showers and possibly a few embedded thunderstorms will race towards the area late tomorrow night. At this time, the time frame for rain to arrive in the Memphis metro area will be Sunday night between 10 p.m. and midnight. Areas west of the river will deal with rain a little sooner. Areas to the east will see rain in the wee hours of Monday morning. Temperatures will fall behind the line of rain and highs on Monday will only be in the lower and middle 50's.
Much more picture-perfect weather returns Tuesday. Sunshine with pleasant temperatures in the upper 50's and lower 60's will be on the way for the rest of the week.
Have a great weekend!
