We Are Back To Jacket Weather

In the wake of the rain yesterday, temperatures today will struggle to climb into the upper 50's.
MEMPHIS WEATHER--Happy Friday everyone! Today will be a rain-free day in the Mid-South. The area was fortunate again last night with storms staying below severe limits. Much cooler air has worked in behind the rain and temperatures have dropped substantially. Highs today will only top out in the mid and upper 50's under a breezy northwest wind. Clouds will clear out of the area from west to east today, revealing more sunshine as we wind down the work week. With clear skies and calm winds tonight, temperatures will drop into the mid 30's across parts of the Mid-South. Rural areas will see the coldest overnight lows tonight into early Saturday morning. A Frost Advisory has been issued for that time frame (1 a.m.-8 a.m. Saturday) for much of west TN, east AR, and extreme northern MS. You may consider covering tender vegetation and moving potted flowers inside.

The weekend looks terrific! Sunshine is on the way for Saturday with highs in the mid and upper 60's. A few clouds and sunshine are expected Sunday with temperatures climbing into the lower 70's. Another round of rain will arrive Tuesday of next week.
