MEMPHIS WEATHER--The warm and dry weather that was around to start the week will be displaced by a period of wet and noticeably cooler weather for the latter part of the week. A slow moving weather system to the west of the state will continue to increase the moisture flow over the region into Thursday and Friday. In addition, cooler air flowing into the state will make for temperatures that will be quite a bit cooler than normal as we head into the period Friday through the weekend. Friday looks to be the wettest of the next three days, but some rain is expected at times for Thursday and Saturday as well. Sunday, will still have lingering clouds, but with only minimal rain chances.
