Shelby County Board of Education to Host Community Input Session

The Shelby County Board of Education is continuing its process to search for a new Superintendent.
The Shelby County Board of Education is continuing its process to search for a new Superintendent. It is our belief that the most important responsibility of a Board is to select as Superintendent, a highly qualified professional who can work productively with the Board, staff, parents, students and the community to provide a quality education for all students.

Recognizing that the entire community has a stake in the selection, we would like to extend an invitation to you and representatives of your organization to meet with members of the PROACT Search Firm on Thursday, April 4th, in the MCS Auditorium, 2597 Avery Avenue. Please feel free to choose any of the times below that are convenient to you. Each session will last approximately one hour.

· 11:00 a.m.

· 12:30 p.m.

· 2:00 p.m.

· 3:30 p.m.

· 7:00 p.m.

If you are unable to attend and would like to provide input relative to the selection of the next Superintendent, we have developed a survey that you can access and complete online (please follow one of the links below). If you are unable to participate online, you may pick up a paper copy from the Administration Buildings located at 2597 Avery Avenue and 160 S. Hollywood.

Spanish: https://proact.wufoo.com/forms/shelbyencuesta-para-la-basqueda-del-supt/

We would like to encourage you to share this survey with constituents of your entire organization. The completed paper copies of the survey can be returned to the Administration Buildings or your neighborhood school.

Thank you for your assistance in advance. The Board members, along with PROACT Search, appreciate your participation in this important process.
