Man Charged With Selling Pot-Laced Candy Bars

A Nashville man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly selling candy bars laced with marijuana.
NASHVILLE, AR (WKRN)-- A Nashville man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly selling candy bars laced with marijuana.

David Crawford, 55, was taken into custody after he was observed selling a candy bar at the Shell station on Old Hickory Boulevard and Lebanon Road.

Three candy bars were found in his truck.  Three additional cases of candy bars were found in his home.

Crawford told police the boxes were shipped to him from California.

Officers found a total of 87 marijuana bars that were equivalent to approximately 8.1 pounds of pot, according to an affidavit.

Crawford admitted that he sold the candy bars for $25 each.

He was charged with possession and booked into the Metro jail.
