PARKIN, Ark. (AP, abc24.com) - The police chief of an eastern Arkansas town has been found dead at his home.

Parkin Mayor Charles Patterson told KAIT-TV that Police Chief Dean Davidson was discovered Thursday morning. Investigators believe he died of natural causes and no foul play is suspected.

Officials say Davidson's body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy.

Parkin is located in eastern Arkansas in Cross County.
