STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Colin Borchert scored a career-high 21 points, Gavin Ware added 12 and Mississippi State beat Mississippi 73-67 on Saturday to break a 13-game losing streak.

Mississippi State (8-20, 3-13) ended nearly two months of misery with the victory. The Bulldogs led almost the entire game, pushing back every Ole Miss rally in the second half. Roquez Johnson returned from a three-game suspension to score 10 points for Mississippi State.

Ole Miss (21-8, 10-6) lost for the sixth time in 10 games. Murphy Holloway led the Rebels with 22 points and 19 rebounds. The SEC's leading scorer Marshall Henderson had 16 points, but shot just 4 of 19 from the field, including 3 of 18 from 3-point range.

The Rebels shot just 25 of 74 (33.8 percent) from the field.
