MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - If you couldn't make the trip to Columbus, there are plenty of places in the Mid-South where Tiger fans will be cheering on the team in the NCAA Tournament on Friday.
The University of Memphis will host a watch party for the Tigers' NCAA Basketball Tournament game Friday against Saint Louis University in the Tigers of Memphis Restaurant in the University Center on campus. Tipoff for the game is set for 5:50 p.m. Beginning at 5 p.m. there will be door prizes and food specials.
In addition, the U of M Alumni Association will host watch parties for the Memphis-Saint Louis game at 10 locations around town. These include:
- Arlington - Game Time Sports, 11695 U.S. 70, Arlington
- Bartlett - East End Grill, 7547 Stage Rd., Bartlett
- Cordova - T.J. Mulligan's, 8071 Trinity Rd., Cordova
- Downtown - Alfred's on Beale, 197 Beale St.
- East Memphis - Brookhaven Pub, 695 W. Brookhaven Circle
- Germantown - East End Grill, 7956 Winchester Rd.
- Midtown - Young Avenue Deli, 2119 Young Ave.
- Millington - Chili's, 8526 U.S. 51, Millington
- Southaven, Miss. - Big League Grill, 5960 Getwell Rd., Southaven
- Summer Avenue - Central BBQ, 4375 Summer Ave.
Discounts will be available to Alumni Association members who present their membership card.
The restaurants will hold additional watch parties if the Tigers advance in the tournament.
