Cora is a sweet girl with a big smile.

Cora is a sweet girl with a big smile.

Nationwide kids adopted after the age of 13 have lots of financial assistance opportunities for higher education thanks to one very determined former foster child from TN.
Cora is a sweet girl with a big smile. She is 12 years old. She is a social butterfly who has no problem making friends. While it can take a while for her to gain trust in others, Cora is extremely loyal to those close to her. Cora is also quite intelligent and displays this with excellent grades in school. Her favorite subject is Math. Cora is very ambitious and is already making career plans! Cora would be happy in an active family. Her favorite sport to play is basketball.

Cora’s family would need to offer clear and consistent parenting, while redirecting her in a patient manner. Cora needs for her parents to give her a lot of verbal encouragement to help her reach her full potential. Cora would likely do best in a home where she is the only child. She has been in many homes, so it may take a while for her to feel like a true member of the family.

Cora needs to continue to work to address her past trauma and other therapeutic needs to ensure her long term success. She will need a lot of positive reinforcement and close supervision from her caretakers. She needs a family who will support her in her endeavors and be able to ensure she is having her therapeutic, medical and academic needs met in a professional setting when recommended.
