The crash happened just after noon on Saturday, December 22nd on I-40 Westbound near Airline Road in Arlington, TN.
Traffic was at a stand still because of an earlier wreck when a Jeep rear ended the vehicle Quindarious McGhay was in, causing it to flip on its side. The driver was also injured and was hospitalized in critical condition. McGhay, of Memphis, was 8 years old.
According to investigators, everyone had their seat belts on. A total of 4 people were injured.
