MILLINGTON, TN (abc24.com) - The owner of a transmission shop in Millington is suing the city, its former police chief, and two police officers.

Marlin Roberts owns Transmission Doctors. He was indicted earlier this year, accused of selling drugs from the shop.

The indictment was dismissed in August. Charges were also dismissed against several other people.

Former Millington Mayor Richard Hodges was also indicted in the investigation; he has pleaded not guilty.

Roberts is asking for $1.5 million in damages, claiming the investigation and indictments violated his constitutional rights.
