Police were called to the 2100-block of Winding Path Drive around 9 a.m. on Friday, July 12, concerning a domestic assault.

According to the police affidavit, the 16-year-old victim had just let her boyfriend, 20-year-old Brandon Pannell, inside the home when she received a phone call.

When police arrived, Pannell fought with officers and was taken into custody after a brief struggle.
