MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police have two people in custody after a man was shot while trying to repossess a vehicle at a Raleigh apartment complex Friday morning.

Officers were called to a shooting at the Raleigh Village Apartments on the 5000-block of Yale just after 7 a.m. on Friday, November 9. When they arrived they learned the victim had left the scene, and found him on a nearby residential road suffering from a gunshot wound. The 28-year-old male victim was transported to The MED in critical condition.

Investigators say the victim was trying to repossess a vehicle at the apartment complex when the vehicle's owner shot him. Two people are in police custody, but charges are still pending as the investigation continues.
