Settlement Reached In Lawsuit Over Lorenzen Wright's Death

The estate of basketball player Lorenzen Wright and the city of Germantown have reached a settlement in a lawsuit over his death.

MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - The city of Germantown and the estate of Lorenzen Wright have reached a settlement.

This is all in connection with the former NBA player's death that happened more than three years ago.

Lorenzen Wright Jr. was granted his one-sixth of the $135,000 settlement approved in May.

The settlement, minus attorneys' fees, resulted in $85,000 being divided between Wright’s six kids.

Wright was reported missing by his family on July 19, 2010.

Two weeks later, his body was found in a Southeast Memphis field.

Wright's murder remains unsolved.
