On Saturday, December 1st, the 11th Annual St. Jude Marathon Weekend took place drawing a record breaking 18,500 participants and raising $5.7 million for St. Jude, surpassing their fundraising goal of $5 million. There were just 2,800 participants in the marathon's inaugural race 11 years ago.
Justin Gillette of Goshen, Indiana and Angie Zinkus of Eads, Tennessee were the top men's and women's finishers.
