Three Charged In Binghampton Shooting

Memphis police have charged three people with attempted murder after a woman was shot in front of a neighborhood grocery Wednesday.

MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - On September 11, 2013, at approximately 5:20 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at 795 Pope. Officers located a female suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

The investigation revealed the victim was shot by 19-year-old Tiffani Franklin. Franklin is the current girlfriend of 21-year-old Terrance Bobo, the victim’s children’s father. Franklin and Bobo were in the back seat of a 2003 Infiniti I35 that was driven to the scene of the shooting by 26-year-old Cameron Edwards. After the shooting, the three suspects fled the scene (in the vehicle) westbound on Pershing.

Officers arrested all three suspects. When Franklin was taken into custody officers located 40.64 grams of marijuana on her person. She was charged with Criminal Attempt Felony to wit First Degree Murder and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/ Deliver/ Sell. Bobo and Edwards were charged with Criminal Attempt Felony to wit First Degree Murder.
