$10,000 Reward Offered For Information Leading To Conviction Of Fraud Suspect

(U.S. POSTAL SERVICE RELEASE) - Memphis, TN– The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering up to a $10,000 Reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the following suspect. He is believed to be involved in a fraud scheme in the Memphis area targeting the elderly.

Victims are contacted via the telephone by a female identifying herself as a fraud investigator from their bank. The victims are advised their credit and/or debit cards have been compromised and are convinced to give the caller their PIN number. They are then instructed to immediately mail their cards back to the bank by placing them into their residential mail boxes. The victims comply and place the cards in their mail boxes. The suspects retrieve the cards from the mailboxes and begin using them.

One suspect involved in the scheme is pictured below after using one of the victim’s credit cards. He is often seen wearing a Chicago Bulls baseball cap. The suspect’s vehicle is a white 4 door Cadillac, license plate is unknown.
