17-Year-Old Shot And Killed In Orange Mound

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - Memphis Police say a 17-year-old boy was killed in Orange Mound early Sunday morning.

It happened near the corner of Semmes Street and Hoskins Road according to police.

Police say officers arrived at Methodist University Hospital where a brown Chevy Malibu drove into the ambulance bay with an unresponsive 17-year-old who had been shot.

According to police, the staff took him inside the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation.

This makes homicide #113 for 2017.
