3 Arrested After Horn Lake Robbery And Police Chase Into Memphis

HORN LAKE, Miss. (localmemphis.com) - Horn Lake Police say three people are in custody, accused of robbery at the Tobacco Superstore in the 3300 block of Goodman Road.

 

Police say about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night, two men armed with handguns robbed the business, then took off in a white Chevrolet Impala driven by a woman. No one was hurt.

 

Southaven officers later spotted the car, and chased it into Memphis, where the three accused suspects were taken into custody. Police say Tyler Montell Lay had a gunshot wound to the leg. They say it appears either he or the other suspect fired a shot when they were running out of Tobacco Superstore following the robbery.

 

Tyler Montell Lay, Javon Cornelius Lamar Wilson and Shikeema Aaliya Lang face charges of Armed Robbery. They face the possibility of life in prison in convicted.

 

Investigators say Lay was also identified as the accused robber in abother robbery at Tobacco Warehouse in Horn Lake on June 17, 2017. He faces an additional Armed Robbery charge for that incident.
