Actor Johnny Depp Speaks At Death Penalty Protest

LITTLE ROCK, ARK (localmemphis.com) - Johnny Depp addressed a big crowd being Friday. 
 
He was at the Arkansas State Capitol for an hour or so. 
 
But during his short time, he made a statement. 
 
Depp, who was invited by Echols -- came to the state capitol to protest the upcoming executions. 
 
When Depp was asked what he could tell lawmakers in Arkansas,  He said he would ask how you could sleep at night. 
 
Depp said.  "As Maryland Mansion once said, they would better off being listened to than spoken to, I would imagine." 
 
Depp, who was very soft spoken, also questioned the drug that will be used in the executions.
