Armed Bank Robbery

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - UPDATE:
Memphis Police have released surveillance photos of a suspect who robbed the First Tennessee Bank this afternoon.

Police say the suspect posed as customer, showed a gun, demanded money, and left.


ORIGINAL INFORMATION:
Memphis Police are searching for a man who robbed a First Tennessee Bank today.

Shortly after 12:30 this afternoon, police responded to an armed robbery call to the First Tennessee Bank at 3391 N. Watkins Street in Frayser. They say a black male, approximately 25-30 years old, wearing a green hooded shirt, a black coat, gray jeans, and a black skull cap was armed and robbed the bank.

The suspect fled the scene, going northbound on Watkins.
