MEMPHIS, TENN (localmemphis.com - Four days since they disappeared, crews recovered the bodies of two fishermen from Moon Lake in Coahoma County, Mississippi.
The men were reported missing Friday when family members said their manager couldn't reach them.
One man was recovered Monday around 8:00 a.m. The other was located around 4:15 p.m. Monday.
Officials with Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks said Willie Pleas and Cheng Wen Sun disappeared Friday while fishing.
Coahoma County first responders worked with the state and volunteers battling high winds to search for the men. They also used sonar technology to find them.
The two men worked for Moon River Foods and were fishing for Asian carp.
Devastated family members were at the lake every day since Friday.
"Just continue to pray for us, just continue to pray for our family, our strength," said Tamara Pleas, Willie Pleas' sister.
34-year-old Pleas was from Sunflower, MS and a father of three children.
Sun's family members declined to talk.
The men will be taken to the medical examiner's office in Jackson, Mississippi.
Monday the Coahoma County Sheriff's Office issued a thank you letter to all of the agencies and volunteers who gave their time and equipment to the search.
A spokesperson for Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks said their next step will be investigating what happened.
