MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - The family of former Memphis Grizzly Lorenzen Wright wants state investigators to help find his killer.
Wright was murdered in southeast Memphis in 2010.
State Representative GA Hardaway says he will be talking with Memphis police, the TBI and the Shelby County District Attorney to see what resources the state can offer to solve wright's case.
Wright's family gathered at his grave Saturday on what would have been his 42nd birthday.
It's something they've done for years, but it continues to be a painful reminder.
"Still no justice. His kids don't have a dad. He ain't seen no graduations of none of his kids. Not one. And it's not fair to those kids let alone to me. He's got 6 kids he'll never see graduate, got 4 girls he'll never walk anywhere," said Lorenzen’s mother Deborah Marion.
Memphis Police continue to urge anyone with information to contact them.
