Former Memphis Tiger Tyreke Evans Agrees To One-Year Deal With Memphis Grizzlies

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - ESPN is reporting that former University of Memphis Tiger Tyreke Evans has agreed to a one-year, $3.3 million deal with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Evans joins Sacramento Kings teammate Ben McLemore in making the move to the bluff city. Evans, who suffered from knee injuries this past season, played in 14 games, with six starts, with the Kings since joining them in February. He averaged 11.6 points and shot 43.8% from the 3-point range.

The Grizzlies announced Friday McLemore signed a multi-year contract with the team, but the details were not disclosed. McLemore has appeared in 293 games, with 216 starts, and averaged 9.4 points, and shot 35.2% from three-point range during a four-year NBA career with the Kings.
