Grizzlies Drop Game One To The Spurs 111-82

SAN ANTONIO, Tex. (localmemphis.com) - Kawhi Leonard matched his playoff career-high with 32 points to help the Spurs roll over the Grizzlies 111-82 in Game 1 of the first-round playoff series on Saturday night in San Antonio.

Marc Gasol had a playoff career-high 32 points, but only scored seven in the second half. Mike Conley was the only other Grizzlies player in double digits, finishing with 13.

The Grizzlies made their first five shots and jumped out to 13 point lead in the first quarter. San Antonio took its first lead with 8:53 remaining in the second quarter and never trailed again.

San Antonio is now 15-4 against Memphis in the postseason.

Next up: Game 2 between the Grizzlies and the Spurs is Monday night at 8 p.m.
